The Talking Cube Clock, models CC36 and CC42, is a voice output alarm clock designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This talking alarm clock speaks in a clear, male voice with a British accent. It has a large, front-facing speaker and can be very loud. The user can adjust the volume with a rotary volume control. There are audible cues for setting and adjusting the clock. All setting buttons are covered when not in use to prevent accidental changes. Pressing a large, high-contrast push button on top causes the time to be anounced. Other features include 12- (AM/PM) or 24-hour modes; hourly announcements in 12-hour mode; five alarm sounds; and a snooze alarm, which sounds for one minute and then pauses for four minutes.
